Saharogya Seasonal Diadim (Tea for Diabetes) Tea
Diabetes or Diabetes Mellitus is an abiding and chronic metabolic disorder that engenders high levels of blood sugar in the system. This can happen because of Pancreas being unable to produce enough enzymes (insulin) or when the body’s capability to react to insulin (responsible sugar from the blood to the cells to be preserved or converted into energy) is hindered. A build-up of sugar for a long time can lead to complications like stroke, kidney failure, nerve damage, heart disorders, impotency, joint pains and blindness.
With the aim to rejuvenate the body, Ayurveda prescribes several herbs to not only control the blood sugar levels but assure no other health issues are caused. Diabetes, referred to as ‘madhumeha’ in Ayurveda can be triggered because of the sedentary lifestyle, stress, eating disorders and genetic factors. Ayurveda considers ‘madhumeha’ as a ‘maharoga’ which needs to be treated in time.
Diadim (Saharogya Tea for Diabetes) is a traditional combination of Nisa, Amla, Kathaka, Lodhra, Bhadrika and Ekanayaka.
